Jesus is there any Irish player that can score at the moment.   The 3 stooges will probably blame Kenny for that miss too.

Thought he looked very good. Didn’t do too much wrong with the miss, great block but you have to be putting them away.

It was actually unprofessional not scoring that. No goalkeeper from 5 yards.

If you watch the replay you can see he never looked at the goal before shooting.  Assumed it was a tap in and seemed to totally miss that Aldevirald was covering.

Can't understand why he missed the defender, he shook him off in the build up to the goal

Feel really bad for him, he just deactivated his Instagram account probably because of the sitter he missed last night.

I get the impression the lack of goals does effect his head a bit. He’s always been prolific underage so it’s not as if he can’t score/find the net.

He hasn’t had much go right either recently that injury he picked up against Wolves was typical.

Haven’t seen the abuse now but if he deleted his social media then it clearly was out of order.

Back in the starting lineup presumably because Trossard got a knock last day...he's on the bench tho.
Picked ahead of Welbeck also.
Come on Aaron!

Thats really good to see, he's got 8 odd weeks to hit some good form before the ireland games. Let's hope he can get some confidence boosters.

At the moment hes our best forward option.

I am half watching this match.
Thought Connolly did well. Drove forward with the ball taking on defenders and drew a very good save from the keeper at the end of the first half.
