Lot of fans on the Brighton forum are saying they want a replacement for connolly/their other strikers this January.

He could do with a goal sooner rather than later

If he was English he would have scored.

He's getting chances and the Chelsea keeper made a good save today from a connelly chance (didn't watch the game, only what I've read)

He looks like he has a goal in him every game, which is amazing for a teenager in the premier league

I have watched most of the games he has played this season for Brighton and he definitely has been getting poor service. He always looks very dangerous when brighton are counter attacking and he has space to run into but so often he is not played in or the ball is sent out too wide. Playing centrally today when brighton had chelsea pinned back he just gets crowded out by bigger defenders. Holds the ball up extremely well though for a small man and wins an awful lot.of free kicks

Saw a bit of him at underage levels and always thought he same. Can do a job in the centre but always thought he was better out wide
Some people just deserve a slap

I have watched them a lot this year and thought the same, He is getting very frustrated as there is nobody in the Brighton midfield can pick out a pass to split a defence open to save their lives. Their midfield is brutal imo and I think playing as a two with Maupay who is a totally selfish player who doesnt really have the brains to make a run to open up space for other people is a hindrance. Also he is ALWAYS on Connolly's back giving out to him and I think its really just to protect his spot and bully Connolly rather than help in any way. A huge frustration is they shoot a lot when things open up from 20-25 yards when an easy slide rule pass is on and never spot the perfect runs Connolly makes.
