His name is Aaron Connolly, and he didn't come here to die.

He fights for the rights of the working man! And protects the Proletariat!

Hard on himself for not scoring. Different mentality than the rest of the squad.

Great to hear. Someone who won't settle for the "muddle through" attitude that has become pervasive in the rest of the team.
We're decent enough..

Not picking Aaron Connolly for Collins is like going for a job interview and being told you are overqualified.

If Connolly had started we'd have easily won 3-0.

Would he have been our youngest ever debut hat trick scorer?

It was like wanting to pick Hoolahan but being told theres only Sammon on the menu.

Hoolahoops are only for snacking. For main course you always go with Sammon.

Can't see it. Same team as Saturday only with Stevens back in at left back. I am hoping Mick pulls a surprise but at this stage and from his comments about Saturday I would be really amazed if there was more than 2 changes(the only other possible change could be Browne for Robinson but even at that I am skeptical)
Walters coming back from an offside position but Shane Long was definitely onside- Shane Lonnggggggg.... has done it!!!!

Mick seemed to suggest at the press conference that Connolly would start, but not as a lone front man.

Mick does seem to allude to Aaron starting

I hope that if we are in fact going for 2 up front that it is Connolly and Robinson.
The only way is up

Connolly will start.  If he doesn't Mick will be hounded by the media.

Lot of trust in this lads ability recently. 2 goals in the last club game makes it difficult to drop him for the next.

Another one today will boost the confidence no doubt - not that he needs it

Duffy on the other hand dropped again
