Connolly is finished at Brighton, not sure why people keep talking about this as if its a possibility he'll get back in there.  There are younger players who they will give a chance to ahead of him, and in case you havent been paying attention every manager who has a good look at him wants rid quickly enough.  He should still be able to sort a league 1 loan but who knows.

Connolly will be back playing at Galway by the time he is 25 and I genuinely believe that.

Id love for it to work out for him but at the moment his career resembles a stalled plane in free fall with no possibility of a recovery!

Madness how his career has contrasted with McAllister at Brighton! Both got their breakthrough at a similar point funny enough!

Can see him retiring before 25. He'll see out his contact with Brighton, probably get some L1 side before losing interest and throwing in the towel.

i understand that venezia brought a new manager in so its not necessarily connolly's fault that he didnt see much game time. important thing for aaron that he find a stable club with a manager that will believe in him. i think ther is still a place for him at brighton their squad isn't particularly strong and the change to play will come. we know he can do it at this level, a goal or two would do the world for his confidence.

Ah wake up, he's had Potter, Wilder, Kenny all gave him so many auditions & chances. He's a bad egg. Something went on in Italy too & it's nothing to do with them changing manager.

His tendency to miss absolute sitters on regular basis doesn’t help. Don’t think he will have too many options, could easily find himself on bench behind Ferguson and Moran in Brightons development squad for rest of season

They'll be looking to ship him out asap. Might as well cover all his wages and send him off somewhere than letting him rot in the U21s and being a possible negative influence on players.

Contract up in 18 months. I'm sure he'll get a reality check when Brighton say thanks for your service and good luck. Then when offers come in from lower end clubs with lower end salaries..

Unfortunately, the boat seems to have sailed with Connolly. Seems to have fallen out of love with the sport and the desire just isn't there.

No way Brighton give him another chance, his absolute best bet this season is someone in the Championship relegation dogfight takes a chance on him.

But for that to be a success it would require him to knuckle down and work hard. Doubtful that will happen given he is back with the ex again, and how it makes his talk before the season be just that, talk. The lad had no intention of knuckling down and sorting himself out.

Lads, give the kid a break. He's stressed out of his bracket planning his next tattoo.

If you can find one quote from any one of the managers above that had anything bad to say about Connolly post it up or shut the f**k up spreading lies
It would damage this forums' reputation

Could see someone like Swansea showing a bit of interest in him though that's gonna depend on what Brighton are willing to cover wages wise.

They'll be shopping on a small budget and looking for cheap players.

You basing this on an assumption that Obafemi will be off to Burnley in Jan?

No but they'll likely have to replace Obafemi and Piroe before the start of next season or risk losing them for nothing or dirt cheap next January.

Six month loan at Swansea with most or if not all his wages covered could suit them to see if Connolly was an option for next season.

Yeah I think Swansea would be a cracking move for a lad who just cant get into any team.
I thought Serie-B was gonna do him the world of good.
Massive doubts now over whether he'll ever play for our Seniors again.  But things can change fast...all in his hands really.

There’s a long way between Brighton and Galway united.

He can get contracts in the Australian league, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, UAE to name but a few lucrative options.
