Tbh I don’t read those quotes as saying he was injured up to now. All he said was he wanted to get him minutes with the 23s which makes sense giving he wasn’t making the squad.

Who really gives a f**k about the why at this point. He's an exciting prospect and any indication he'll be back in the squad is a positive. We need one of him or Idah and preferably both playing regularly. Neither are as far away as some of their critics suggest and if both could start to get more minutes, things really would start to look a lot better. They have both shown glimpses of real quality in their short careers to date, I remain pretty optimistic that both have PL careers ahead of them.

Well I would rather he was injured tbh rather than being dropped for performance / attitude reasons. I’m a big fan of his and think he has the potential to be our most Imp player if he got his act together (due to lack of attacking options). Think it’s pretty obvious we need one or both of him / Idah.

Was watching.
Did OK.
Commentator made the point that his preferred way to play is runs in behind but BHA don't really play like that, preferring the passing game thru the def.
I don't think Aaron did anything wrong, one v good run and put it on a plate for the lad who missed.
Won a foul or two.

Oveall good to see him get the minutes and Trossard went off with a very bad arm-injury so maybe more games for him in the near future.
Looked fit too Thumbs Up

With Welbeck being Welbeck injury prone Trossard out injured now too coming into a busy Xmas period the next few weeks could be a big opportunity for this lad to get a run of games and impress.

Played okay when he came on the weekend did Connolly from what I see. He needs to stay fit. Ferguson is the talk at the moment but he's just turned 17 really is very young to be thrown in like that.

Trossard's likely to be fit for the next game.

Don't like this lad's attitude the past four or five years but hope he scores a hat trick tonight.

Had a very quiet game through no fault of his own. Brighton lacking any sort of creativity in the middle. They keep going wide with poor crosses into the box and the few times they did get into good attacking positions centrally they were closed out with ease.
