Irish Player Transfers 2019/20/21 Season

Given his record earlier in the season, as well as where they are in the table, it makes sense. He could keep them up.

Sure - if he comes back for their remaining 10 games, or whatever, after his lengthy layoff, hits the ground running, showing the kind of form he did earlier in the season, and, assuming they're still in contention by then, scores the goals that fires them to safety, it'll look like a great bit of business. I only say 'slightly surprising' because Oldham have used one of a limited number of loan signing available to them on a player who's due to miss a large chunk of their remaining fixtures rather than on someone who could make an immediate impact.

Probably worth the gamble, however.

Ex Brighton U23 player & Irish underage international Dylan Barnett, a left back I think, joins Waterford FC. 

Sean Kavanagh has moved to Shamrock Rovers from Fulham.

The unfortunately-named Michael Howard goes on loan to Cork from PNE having just signed a new 18-month contract. Notoriously evasive when asked questions by reporters after a game, apparently.
