Even with the 4-0 loss against Sligo, we played well going forward and created a good few chances.

But that was atrocious LOL

Second half wasn’t bad, Devoy made a huge difference.
Referee was hilariously bad

just development money I’d say, he’ll move after contract expires so we’ll not get a fee.

Positives all round this evening. Great to see a nearly full Dalymount, Idowu looks a handy signing & main players getting a rest Clap

good result, nice to rest key players too.
Beyond harsh red for ex bohs man Kelly giving maynooth an impossible task, bad luck there but a silly tackle.
While the result was ok the performance wasn’t, disjointed and sloppy, Ward being chief culprit, awful performance from him.
Devoy won’t be around this league next season, what a talent , easily the most comfortable player , and it’s like that in every game now.
Team Still too inconsistent though, if we make euro football next season I’ll be amazed.

LOLLOL 6 teenagers played last night, 2 lads made their debut and the game plan was ripped up just before kick off when Promise got injured.
Wardy is on the wane but still chipped in with a goal & an assist

Ah now I’m not having a go at the young lads, the experienced players were way off last night, with the notable exceptions of Devoy Buckley and Talbot. But feeley Kelly Wilson Lyons ward  all way too sloppy and lackadaisical. A better team would have punished the possession we coughed up. The lack of focal point in attack when Georgie is missing is glaringly obvious. And Mallon yet again crocked even though he’s played about ten minutes all season is frustrating. The two young players, Mullins and Doran did well enough but plainly aren’t ready yet.

Mallon will do well to see any time on the pitch for the rest of the season apparently.
