Tough game for Kelly but took his goals well. Devoy very unlucky to see his dink cleared off the line.

Stjarnan were very poor but we were very composed throughout the game. Only negative for me was Feely, he was very ropey in the first half before being subbed at HT.

Great to be back at live football Clap

Stjarnan really were poor over 180mins, so negative. Cornwall did well when he came in at HT. Good to see KL using his bench, plenty of games coming up.
Shouldn’t be in fear going into the next round anyway Clap

I think it’s worth 300k to bohs. I travelled up from Clare for the game and it was great to be back watching live football. The Bohs fans created some atmosphere. Decent week for Irish clubs in Europe which is good news.

Big thanks to pats LOL

Yeah it seems the best route to solving Irelands striker crisis is to get as many strikers through the doors at Pats as possible. Of course at Saints they will be completely ineffective before moving on elsewhere and becoming world beaters.

To be fair, last season Pats were a shadow of the side they are now so I wouldn't be quick to criticise either the club or Kelly for last season. If he was there this season, he could well be scoring goals for them.

Yeah I agree. Pats had very little cutting edge and the build up slow was painfully slow last season. Difficult conditions for any centre forward to thrive in. Having said that, Kelly looks way sharper and more confident at the moment. Amazing what some self belief can do for a striker.

What's the story with Bastien Hery? Is he still injured or just can't get in the team?

He was poor for Linfield, hardly going to play ahead of Buckley and Devoy.

An expensive mistake by the looks of it. A 16yr old got on ahead of him on Thursday.
