Happy with that draw. Longford are going well, but at home i'd fancy us. Dundalk being drawn away to Derry is an added bonus.
No thank you Turkish......I'm sweet enough

Be interesting to see if they rest a few players for the league like Shels did

Although Im not sure that helps us, as We tend to only play well when We are under the cosh

Who needs UEFA competition when we have the Wafer Cup to play for.

It's on in the international week and a Cup week so if Mandy and Leahy are away with the 21st and we're still in the cup, we can cancel the game that weekend and try and get it on the Saturday...

Scotland have a qualifier against Russia on the Friday and against Belgium on the Monday so doubt they'll use either of those dates.

Airdrie’s reward for last night’s Tunnocks Caramel Wafer Cup victory over Hamilton Academical is a third round tie against Irish side Bohemian FC.

Bohs, who hail from Dublin and are the oldest League of Ireland club, will travel to the Penny Cars Stadium on the weekend of September 7/8.

The third round draw in full is as follows

Connah's Quay Nomads v Cove Rangers

Stenhousemuir v The New Saints

Waterford v Heart of Midlothian Colts

Airdrieonians v Bohemians

Wrexham v Ayr United

Kelty Hearts v Solihull Moors

Ballymena United v Rangers Colts

Formartine United v Glenavon

Inverness Caledonian Thistle v Greenock Morton

Montrose v Partick Thistle

St Mirren Colts v Stirling Albion

Dundee United v Arbroath

Clyde v Queen of the South

Raith Rovers v Falkirk

Dundee v Elgin City

Dunfermline Athletic v Alloa Athletic

Its a hard one to see. I cant see Bohs cancel a potential cup game for a wafer cup date.

Is it possible theyd do the potential cup game on the friday and send a weekened squad to scotland for a sunday game. Did they do something similar last year for the peterhead game

Just checked as far as I remember they did send a weekened squad but not in such a short time frame.

Wrexham are in it? Quite sad to see for a club with their history.

Here's what happened.

Airdrieonians (1878-2002) died.

A wealthy fan almost immediately created a new club called Airdrie Utd.

They then bought out Clydebank who were about to go under and entered the league system again as Airdrie Utd.

This club used the same colours but a different badge from the old Airdrieonians.

In 2012 they dropped the "United" from the club name.

In 2013 they became the Airdrieonians again and the badge last used by the dead club in 2002 was restored.

From the limited amount ive been able to read on them whilst pretending to be doing work they seem a pleasant bunch....definitely no tennis elbow problems in Airdrie judging by the straight arm salutes
