The fan zones were sh*te in Poland. I wasn't in them during any matches but wandered into them in Poznan and Gdansk but left soon after.

You started a thread on fanzones. I gave you my opinion on fanzones. I don't get the point of your thread if you don't want people to comment on them.

Didn't go near them in Poland and don't intend being near them in france. Montmartre area in Paris will be filled with irish say it be better than either fan zone

I was in the fan zone in Poznan for about an hour on the morning of the Croatia match, they seemed to more family orientated than an area for lads to have a few scoops while watching a match.

Beer @ Camp Nou...0.0% but better than coke or water. I can live with bad beer. |

I thought the fan zones were decent in Poland. Maybe not somewhere you'd want to spend the whole day but good craic to just drop by for an hour or so and then move on.

As a place to watch the match if you don't have tickets you could do worse than the fanzones. There will be a huge screen and I'm sure a lot of other Irish there. I wouldn't bother with them otherwise.

Was in the fan zone in Warsaw for the opening game between Poland and Greece. Was packed and a great atmosphere.
But Poznan and Gdansk weren't great. Worth a look though, and good way of meeting other nationalities.

Fan zones ....strictly for rookies , orchestrated fun , we don't need it , we dont need thier over priced beer and the place murders any spontaneous sing songs ...utter sh*te avoid like the plague ....a complete rip off too.

Grand spot to watch a game I thought, big screens and a better atmosphere than most pubs. In Poland trying to get a view of a TV in a pub was tricky.
But yeah, sh*te weak carlsberg and you had to prepay beer using a credit card. If ya don't get a ticket to the game there's worse places to watch the games

In paris i'll be in Montmartre drinking instead of the fan zone. If something similar gets sorted for Bordeaux i'll do that unless i get a ticket for that game

I wouldn't waste my time in the Fanzones.Go in to drink pissy beer and have to pay for everything with the sh*t credit card job.
Better off going into a pub if you wanna watch a match imo. |
