The Brew Dock opposite Busarus is a decent spot for a wide array of beers and food, the 3 arena is just up the road and the Luas is right outside too.

As above. Not a great deal in the immediate vicinity of the Point. The Green Room is ok but will be jammers and the hotel is meh. If you are willing to walk 10 or get the Luas, there are a number of options in the IFSC area, Brew Dock, The Harbour Master, Lagoona, Clearys, Reids are all good shouts.

Plenty of decent pubs beside the Luas line which is very handy for getting to The Point.Molloys on Talbot St. is only a few mins from Busaras Luas stop and is one of the cheapest pubs in city centre.

Is the boozer in the cellar between the 3 Arena and Gibson Hotel still open? Handy enough and on a fine day you can drink outside. Plastic cups though Thumbs Down
