Enjoyed the game up in Tallaght. Despite the new stand blocking the prevailing mountain wind, it was still very windy and almost ruined the game.  McCabe is a class act. Ireland deserved the win having played the better football with more chances created than Ukraine. The long throws from Campbell (ala Delap) are a huge simple weapon in football, which Ireland need to capitalise on.

Great win.  Great atmosphere.  Clear change in playing style already.  

There were plenty of tickets offered on social media and outside.  Not sure if it will be the same tomorrow as I see loads looking. 

Great shape now for runners up.  Germany are still at a different level.  It is vital we take 9 points now from the next 3 games v Greece (H & A) & Montenegro A.  We would be in great shape to get the runners up spot then.   

3 runners up qualify directly.  This might be too big an ask as already it looks like we'd need to win in the Ukraine and maybe need a point from the Germans as well.   Maybe bring the Germans to the Aviva in September.
