Probably not fair to put her name up
She’s the first girl to win SFAI All Ireland with a boys team. Don’t think that will ever be beaten.

ARSENAL WOMEN’S BOSS Joe Montemurro has spoken of the disappointment at the club with regard to some of their players — one of those Ireland captain Katie McCabe — recently travelling to Dubai.

Montemurro also stressed that Arsenal “won’t be able to tolerate these sort of decisions, not just from a sporting perspective but from a global morality perspective.”

That's good news. She sounded really passionate and emotional talking about the team when they missed out on the play offs : it's not just a job to her.

1-0 defeat but they played really well in the second half and finished on the front foot against a good side (and McCabe hit the crossbar).

Denmark ranked 14th, yeah solid enough performance from Ireland considering they are ranked 31.

Also, Vera P reckons Denmark are hard done by with that 14th ranking and are better than that (they won their Euro qualifying group comfortably).

Another goalkeeping error, they seem to happen every other match over the last 5 years.

Although I do think Moloney is an excellent keeper

Northern Ireland won 2-1 away to Ukraine today in the play off 1st leg. What a huge missed opportunity from us

Yep, Northern Ireland are ranked well below us. We threw away a play off chance over there.

Vera thinks inexperience and lack of self belief was a factor. They had the ability and dominated the Ukraine game but were still a bit nervy and lacked the confidence to kill off the opposition (hopefully that will all change in the WC qualifiers).
