Rubbish. There are two hospitality areas for jaysis sake. You need to be a lot more grateful for Tallaght and the fact you could play your games there.

I could be wrong but all the things you mentioned above are those required for UEFA 4 Star stadium . I think the car 4 rating is to do with capacity. With needs to be a min 8,000 to hold a champions league game

They didnt build the stadium in Carrig because they'll play club games there too.

Yea this has been in the pipe line a while now good to see it getting the green light , shame the design won't make the ground in to a bowl design stadium

Unfortunately , I don't have any photos of traffic in Killeagh or Castlemartyr on match day to go along with that one.

and that's after you've gone past insufferable Mahon.

They should have built it on a greenfield site somewhere around Carrigtwohill. The déise would still have to deal with killeagh and castlemartyr but by god it would of made life much easier in the main.

btw would it be handier to go from jack lynch tunel > Fermoy > ballyduff or tallow > Lismore > Dungarvan than follow the coast road and getting stuck in the jams. Driving to Dungarvan via Fermoy would take circa 1hr 10mins compared to circa 1 hour along the coast Rd on a good day and you'll not encounter any traffic issues.

It is a joke, Pairc Ui Chaoimh will never be full more than once a year for matches.

RWC is in mind. Cork needs a major stadium, on the other hand Belfast does not need a 30k plus GAA staidum I've had this discussion with my friends/family who own bars in the area two major ones across the road from it Casement is going to be a nightmare. It'll get one Ulster final ever, due to taxes it's a nightmare to get out from unless the PSNI close one lane of the motorway (which they won't) and Antrim GAA isn't exactly boooming they're not going to fill it. It's in a heavily residential area which limits the concerts it can hold... 34k stadium for schools finals Ravenhill is to be expanded in the coming years to make it a 20k+ stadium the largest in the city. There is no way in hell Casement needs to be that size. A 20k stadium with excellent facilities inside would of been perfect, I think the GAA are partly winding up the Unionists and IFA which I'm all for but it's still madness.

Let's face it outside Thomond and Dublin this country needed new stadiums, some are in an awful state. Time for the LOI to make the change now and start updating their stadia and facilities.
