without knowing anything about them they seem to be in poor form and won’t be near as good as Qarabag, it will be tough but as long as we don’t concede an early goal I think we have a half decent chance. I just hope we have a midfielder fit to play alongside shields.

The reward for winning is the loser of the PAOK Ajax game!

4 wins away from number 14, assuming shamrock win their games. At the minute that would be hops away, but with the home game to the shamrocks to be rescheduled, I wonder would the FAI try and set up a big night in Oriel?

So as predicted, the shamrock game is now fixed for Monday 23rd, if we both win our games before then this will be the first chance to win number 14

So tonight could be the night that the league is won (officially) looking forward to it as always, pith it's a Monday night but the FAI fixture guys obviously wanted to add a bit of extra spice to it by making the top two player each other. I'm sure shams would love a result tonight just as much as I wanted a result against cork in 2017 when they had the chance to win it against us. For us, beating your closest challengers to seal it is always that extra bit special.

Its mad to think there has been a 25 points swing since shams went 13 points clear at one stage, could be 28 after tonight! Just shows how clinical we have been since that defeat in Sligo.

Rovers could well be level here both sides look a bit iffy at the back.

Good game.  Rovers brought a very small crowd.  Are they ever going to redevelop Oriel?  What's the story?

Yes when they reach the champions league in 2040. Until then no.
