I heard that the ineligible player for Regional has played with them all season and in previous rounds of the FAI Junior. He was ineligible as he had played abroad but not got the necessary International clearance certificate when signing up with Regional.

My point been if he played against other teams they defeated in the FAI Junior are they not also entitled to be reinstated how are Sherriff the only ones been reinstated.

Also as Regional are Top in Limerick all the other clubs challenging will look for points earned by Regional in the League where he was playing to be awarded to the opposition.

On the other appeal in the Wexford League local suspensions only apply to the league and cup and outside competitions are separate.

And also the other way around if a player is sent off in FAI Junior or LFA Junior the suspension applies to the next round of that competition and not to the league if the team advances to the next round but if they are knocked out the suspension then reverts back to the league.

Ron Burgundy: Discovered by the Germans in 1904, they named it San Diego, which of course in German means a whale's vagina.

Ineligible player was playing at another club in Limerick last year and played a few games for Limerick on trial too, all the time he hadn't had international clearance. You'd feel very sorry for Regional but its no surprise the big boys got the decision. I pity whoever in Limerick decided to contact Sheriff about this player out of pure bitterness.

if the other teams didn't appeal then obviously they can't progress, sheriff stuck a protest and won.the other teams they played against in the league and the player played can only appeal within 3 days of the fixture or else the appeal is void

So now the final is postponed. Annacotty have objected against Sheriff playing ineligible players I think. Whole competition has turned into a farce lately

yeah heard the same. Think if the Saturday side weren't in the competition it would've been ok but they were so cup tied. Some monumental fook up by Sheriff if true

This sort of carry on seems to happen every year.

There’s the link to the AA managers comments post match

I’m pretty sure Mark Quigley even mentioned himself that they used Saturday team players in his interview. He was referring to his team being down to the bare bones. He even selected himself

Aisling Annacotty's appeal thrown out by the FAI Junior Council. They'll surely take it further?

There's a junior team in midleton called St John bosco too iirc, I presume it's their Dublin name sakes we have drawn.

Yup! That game is still a 4th round closed draw. Fermoy play the winners.
