Are there 5 subs allowed in the cups this season?! I was reading a report on the Junior Soccer Portal and they mentioned it in relation the Leinster Junior cup. Firhouse Clover were beaten 3-0 by Newlands/Castle Park and they said that Newlands used their 5 subs.

We knocked Wayside Celtic out of a cup on Saturday. That link has us down to play Drumfinn this Saturday so not sure what cup we knocked Wayside out of.

I was under the assumption that Hoskins (and by extension his football team) is very bad at football. Is this not the case?

Yeah you can use 5 subs from 7 in the cups as well.

Was only supposed to be in league games but was ratified last month to include cup competitions . We have Harwickes Prem A at home in FAI Junior on Friday. Nice handy one

How can one club have three teams in this? Ringmahon have their 1st Junior, A junior and B junior team in this. Always thought one side per club?

Was our 2nd team.

For clubs with Intermediate teams you are best off out of these cups ASAP as there's no chance of winning them. Wayside got to the last 16 of the Junior Cup a few years ago but cost them any chance of winning the Saturday league. Way way too many cups at all levels of amateur football.

In the LFA Cup this Sunday, St Pats of the Carlow League have to play Sheriff's first team.

St Pats are the other club in our village, so hoping Sheriff hammer the f**k out of them Thumbs Up

Westport away to River Valley Rangers from Swords in the 5th round. Anyone know if they are any use? Should be a lot of thirsty Westport men up in Dublin for that.

Sheriff v Carew Park is one tasty tie too.
