Fixture debacle on twitter over the weekend was quite amusing.

The Herald pay €12k per season in sponsorship to the LSL for the right to print fixtures.
The Junior Soccer Portal pay nothing.

Didn't think they could prevent other media printing their fixtures though.

Not sure if they are.
They just asked clubs not to use it and to buy the Herald.

Think they can stop them using the LSL logo.

All clubs incl the DDSL are told to go by the Herald and not any other source as info printed could be incorrect.

You can multiple that figure by three

LSL, quite rightly, are protecting a significant investment

Yea reckon it'll be the end of the road for Portmarnock.
Missing a few big players through suspension and injury after yesterdays game.
Orchard having a great season too

You think? Saw them play Francis two weeks ago and wasn't overly impressed considering how much Francis are struggling.

Watched Killester v Tolka Rovers game yesterday, Rovers deservedly winning 2-1 in the end. Quite the turn around since the new manager has come in.

Orchard at home, so assume Elmdale.

Orchard are the best team we have played this season. Expect them to win handy enough on Sunday, although I haven't seen Portmarnock playing so don't know what to expect from them. The dump that is Elmdale will be a leveller too.

It's strange for such a relatively new ground that the set up in Elmsdale is so poor

Astro going in there so that should improve things for them and to be fair the dressing rooms are decent. The rest is not good to say the least.

Last time I played there in the season of The Great Escape, they still had the sea cans and the pitch was desperate. For such a big club, they've always had crap pitches even at schoolboy level where you had some of the best players in the country playing in The Lawns
