Much needed 3 points tonight after recent poor performances. 
It’s a nice feeling to edge a win in a tight game against Rovers as that has been their specialty against us. 

There wasn’t loads of chances or quality but I thought Forrester and O’Reilly did well. Massive crowd in Inchicore as well. I was a bit late getting in and it was hard to find a decent spot to see the action. I think that’s going to be an issue for Pats. If there is ambition to grow then they need to improve the facilities. I’m tall and I couldn’t see fack all at times. The shortarses and kids must have been snookered unless they got in early and nabbed a decent spot to stand.

Knowing nothing about either team, I assume the Slovenian side would be stronger than the Moldovan one in regards to the strength of their domestic leagues.

Anyone looking at doing the away if they play the Slovenian side Mura? 

Logistically it would be a much easier trek than Moldova.

Mura were surprisingly poor. Pats the better side. Didn’t most the most of the possession or chances and then conceded a shocker from our own throw in. 

Nice goal from Forrester to equalise

We should have gone on to win. Forester waltzed around a few defenders before fluffing what looked a straight forward finish. It would have been a wonder goal.

There’s nothing to fear from Mura if they perform as badly in the second leg
