Couldn't make it last night but great to get another win. That's three in a row, we're putting a run together. A win against Derry this Friday would be big.

Couple of great saves from Murphy but overall Pats deserved it. Killian Brennan was excellent when he came on. Very impressed with the surface in Inchicore.

There was a a fantastic stop from Murphy about five minutes from half time. He got down low at the near post and made a one hand save from a close range nod down. There was another decent stop another couple of minutes later.

I thought it was an entertaining game. The result was probably fair but Pats should have scored more and conceded a couple too.

There was some excellent interplay and Madden, Byrne, Markey and Clarke all looked good to me. Byrne in particular looked very lively, he has great pace and a trick or two in the locker. He's an exciting prospect.

The Derry game is a big one. A win there places Saints in a nice position to challenge for Europe which is a far more positive outlook than there was a few weeks back.

As good a game as I've seen in a long time. Even when throwing it away, we were good. Thomas Byrne is a star.

Some comeback from 2-1 down. 9 goals conceded in 2 games for Derry.

Heard Kerr on the radio today saying it's the best run Pats have been on in 2 years.

Great game. Lots of quality on show from Saints and a well deserved win. Although the peno we got looked a bit dodgy to me.
Madden has slotted in brilliantly. Pats have a very attack minded defensive line as Bermo and Madden get forward well and Desmond and Toner are happy to step out with the ball at their feet. The only issue is that collectively the mistakes are still there.

Kerr is right, this is the most encouraging spell from Pats in years. The average age of the team is young and there's plenty of scope for improvement with some of these lads. Hopefully we can hang on to the brighter stars for another year or two

it was our best performance in years. thought we were extremely lucky for the peno-was surprised that doherty was booked for it...he could have been booked for all his time wasting in the first half. some lovely goals, great team goal for the first. and markeys was just messi-esque. great buzz around the place now.

The penalty did look very, very dodgy.

The time wasting wasn't that bad - and there was an equal amount of it from the Pat's keeper at 3-2.

That last goal was brilliant, though. Pats definitely deserved the win.

Some good goals for Saints the other night. Darragh Markeys roulette turn for his goal was very nicely done.

Saints 2 nil down at half time. They have been atrocious and deserve to be behind. The keeper Farago is sh*te. Desmond is having a mare. As is Conan Byrne and Keegan (although he is being played out of position on the wing).
Rovers are out hustling Pats all over the pitch and are forcing them to play long to get out of defence too often.
Burke has been excellent for Rovers and we have made Carr look like a young Alan Shearer

Fairly pathetic performance. Got bullied by Rovers. Play like that against Cork and we are on a serious hiding

3,016 confirmed attendance.

Suppose it would have been more if it was a Friday.

didn’t look it, but fair play if accurate that’s not bad for a Tuesday fixture.

pats were dreadful. No excuses, result was fair.

Thought the second goal shouldn't have happened. A sinical foul at half way would have prevented it.
