At a wedding for Ireland Denmark away game. Father of the bride got up at 7.15 and was still going (my missus told me, I f**ked off to the bar @ 7.30) at 8.15.
1 f**king hour talking about his daughter.
Was at 8 weddings last year including my own.

At mine we’d no Church ceremony & gave the band & dj strict instructions not to play certain sh*te.

I’d agree with HB though, love a good wedding, especially if it’s s close mate n you’ve nothing to do for ceremony etc

the only decent weddings i've been too in recent years are overseas. the irish hotel wedding machine has bastardized weddings for a generation and made them mundane and boring. most hotels run them wednesday to sunday. every night.

weddings were great when you were 18. back then bagging a desperate bridesmaide, caked in fake tan and dressed like a circus clown was appealing. these days i'm bored by the speeches, want to get the carvery-like meal out of the way and go home. perhaps i'm getting old.

I went through a period of having between 6 -12 weddings to go to a year as most of my mates got hitched. My attendance record could easily have been halved if the missus would avail of my kind proposition that she goes to her pals weddings alone and vice versa. This offer was never entertained despite my repeated sales pitches to it's obvious benefits.

Currently my run rate is a much more manageable 2 -3 weddings annually.

I still hate them though.
I really like weddings but I don't see the point in asking mates or cousins boyfriends or girlfriends unless you know them pretty well. Seems a waste of a place! Invited to one with the gf in May. Never met the couple

I always thought it was.  But I think all their albums after were pure sh*te apart from the odd good song.

Ha. Have always said it’s my favourite Oasis album.

Same with Second Coming. Even though there’s really only two to choose from.

I like the album but wouldn't say it's great.

Standing on the shoulder of giants is a great album.

Not sure about on here but certainly in work with regards to the options in the vending machine this is an unpoular opinion:

Double Decker bars are delish.
