Even I pity him, the FIFA itself should stop him on influencing them

At this stage FIFA needs to be dissolved. Just have an executive Council with a rep from each confederation and cut the sh*t with 20 vice presidents in jobs for the boys.
I won the Player of the Century award thanks to the people.Pele was second. He also came second behind Aryton Senna as Brazil's greatest sportsman. The award FIFA gave Pele isn't worth sh*t - Maradona

Currently you need the support of five national associations to run for FIFA President. UEFA wanted that changed to 10. That shows their "commitment" to democracy.

I'd be surprised if any UEFA candidate will be able to gather enough support outside Europe. Platini is the only one with any hope and he'll have to go into full Blatter patronage mode to win.

My bet is that a guy from Bahrain, Khalifa, will win.

hate to say I told you so but this guy is probably going to be elected FIFA President tomorrow.

I assume the Bahraini has this wrapped up. We should know for certain around 5:30.

Not so, the first round results will be declared around 5.30pm, the Infantini camp are extremely optimistic they have the Caribbean, South America, most of UEFA and some African nations lined up to back them which would mean going to a second and possibly 3rd vote BUT it must be completed by midnight as they need to ready the place for an ice hockey match tomorrow LOL

Actually think Infantini will win it Shocked

Infantino lead the first round voting with 88 with the Sheik getting 85, champagne only got 7 votes so you'd imagine he'll tell his followers to support someone else, interesting but the two bookies favourites are neck and neck at the moment

Infantino leading after the 1st round. Had 88 votes to Salamans 85. Simple majority of 104 only needed from now on
