He left something behind him in the cup today at Gay Meadow, got a smack from a boot and lost at least one front tooth. After change of shorts he's back on the pitch

He's had a decent game tbf to him, playing on the right wing didn't suit him but he persevered and come into it more since moving centrally.

Fans will love him for the dedication. Took a glance a Twitter and most are saying the Cullen, Rice, and Burke were the only positives

Burke (and Rice, bar the last 10 minutes), were sh*te today along with most of the West Ham side. Cullen did play reasonably well though, and I'd say Moyes will like the character he showed to play on after his injury.

Rice and Cullen need to go to Turkey in March, I dont suggest give Cullen a debut unless he gets more game time for West Ham but he is the future so it would be wise to get him involved now so he gets more comfortable with the squad.

Didnt panic when he was on the ball, was lost when he was on the wing but improved when he was through the middle.

Josh Cullen is a future midfielder for Ireland but as a long time admire of him he is not ready for the call up to senior level. He needs a lot more games, kelly of reading is ahead of him, the problem now being is that he can not go on loan again this season as he has already played for two teams and can't play for a third! Bolton don't want him and West Ham won't take the chance whit him with relegation hanging over them so it's been a wasted year for josh. He has been a superb future talent since his man of the match performance against juventus 2 years ago but we need progression quickly and it's not happening.

There's a core of young lads under 23, it's time to build the team around them.

Our lack of options in midfield mean he is worth a look, but he struggled badly at Bolton. Now, that may be because of their own struggles, but it doesn't fill me with confidence about him.

In his defence, it takes very little to rob you of your confidence regarding Irish players, and a disproportionate amount to gain it...
