I joined there at the same time and never posted. Some may be delighted I chose here, but for wanton lunacy it was always going to be here. Far too civilised over there.

I was active on in in the 00's. The guy who ran it started banning people and censoring posts if anyone criticised him or had a different opinion to him on topics. I abandoned it about 10 years ago. It used to have a much better LOI section than anywhere else on the net.

Same. It was far better for actually analysing games and having decent debates and discussions about football back in the 00s. Can remember Paul Hyland taking offence at a Terry Venables thread I'd either started or contributed to and calling us the foot.ie messageboard Mujahideen in a piece in the herald. LOL

YBIG was always better for craic and p1ss taking. Foot.ie got so quiet that it just wasn't worth posting regularly on anymore, especially when there was such a crossover with here.
