An anchor means that the thread will continue to fall regardless of getting new replies. It won’t get bumped back to the top when somebody replies, like a regular thread would.

Good spam deterrent. And whoever has their heart set on posting in the thread knows where to find it.

Win-win, as they say.
There is a poster or 2 on here that could do with an anchor on them LOL

Stuey "I'm angry" Byrne ex of Shels is now a musical artist

He seems to have quite a talent for it too

Stuey grew up on Cedarwood Road, which I did not know

Stuey is the brother of legendary DJ Kelly Anne Byrne, which I did know

I like Stuey, he seems like a very interesting and articulate guy, very good LOI analyst too

Ex-Liverpool manager Bob Paisley was English. I always thought he was Scottish.
Wings? They're only the band The Beatles could have been.

Down is the 4th most populated county in Ireland.
In the Republic I was expecting 3rd spot to be between Galway and Limerick. Not expecting Kildare and Meath to be ahead.

Not too surprising. You'd have some spill over from Belfast
Eamonn Dunphy:"I'll tell you who wrote it, Rod Liddle, he's the guy who ran away and left his wife for a young one".

Bill O'Herlihy: Ah ye can't be saying that now Eamonn

Ah Muff! I don't think there could be a more American band! Donahue sings in his accent. It would be like saying you didn't realise Christy Dignam is a Dub!

I'm 99.5% sure I know who Javier (currently Bielsa's irish on Foot.ie) is. And I'm embarrassed that it's taken me this long to figure it out.
