Seriously? That’s a standard retort to use when they play the old plastic paddy card.

Always assumed he was from London tbh.

Wings? They're only the band The Beatles could have been.

Jordan Pickford's original family name was Pigford but his father changed it to Pickford as he was tired of being nicknamed Piggy.

Piggy is worse than T-Rex atleast.

Ever since someone showed me it I’ve never been able to un-see the character from Toy Story when you put the 2 of em next to each other LOL

I didn't learn this today but I remembered it after I saw a picture of the boxing promoter Don King posing with the Philadelphia mob boss.

Don King beat someone to death when he was 36. He also killed someone in "self-defense" by shooting them in the back when he was 23.

Yeah was surprised it was that low myself, though I do suppose Italy spent years winning games 1-0 and shutting up shop.

Had it not been for injuries and missed tournaments I'd say Baggio or Vieri would have beaten that record.

Also don't forget the great born offside Pippo Inzaghi

Goals would be a lot more spreadout as well I'd say. Wouldn't be just relying on the one player for the most part unlike some teams

That too

but as I point out the likes of Baggio (27), Vieri (23) and Inzaghi (25) missed big chunks of time with injury or not getting selected.

Baggio for example only played 3 games for Italy between the 94 and 98 World Cup.
