Vikings didn't wear helmets with horns. They were invented by some lad in the 1700's while making a play about them and it caught on

The Nations League should come as no surprise why we are so sh*t in it.  We have always been poor for the last 30 yrs against teams similar in standard and ranking to ourselves and 95% of the time we play out draws.

Every game in the NL is against a similar ranked nation.  We were always going to struggle in it as it massively exposes our weakness and poor mentality.  The regular qualifiers cover up that weakness with wins against the worst teams in Europe which we are usually good at getting maximum points from while some nations slip up in those games.

Great to see an all island policy on Zero Nations League victories

Now for an all island policy on Zero Covid

Gave all the subs a game as they were already knocked out.

Unlike Italia '90 where Shilton wouldn't let the other keepers play in the 3rd place play-off.

I like Bobby Robson but playing Shilton as 1st choice was a bad decision.  How bad was he in the shoot out with West Germany!  He was 40 as well! Had about as much dynamism as Bobby himself.

I am not surprised Robson gave the subs a go in 1988, what surprise me was Watson being int he squad.  Never knew he even got in an England squad ever.
