Ray McAnally was originally cast as The Bull McCabe in The Field but died before filming started.

Have to say I could picture him as The Bull

Roy Keane is up for the role in a remake to be released next year.  He has the look and accent the director wants.

''This is my field Yank.  Be a good Yank now and go home.  You might be inviting a lot of trouble upon yourself.  This is deep.  Very deep. Deeper than you think.

I saw him being interviewed somewhere years ago, it really seemed to f**k him up. He had a really difficult life and a lot of it seems to have stemmed from that discovery. It's a shame as he comes across as a great fella and he was great in 'Riff-Raff', one of my favourite films.

As I am here, I only found out last night that Samantha Janus/Womack, her from Game On/Eastenders/ Eurovision is the niece of Angie Best.

He then offered the caddy $20,000. The caddy said no, $50,000, or forget it.

He wanted the 50,000 to open a laundromat. LOL
