The Sports Direct boss Mike Ashley has threatened legal action to remove Debenhams’ administrators after his stake in the department store group was wiped out and the company put into the hands of its lenders. Anyone off here read the letter by Ashley to the Secretary of state for Sport? In it he calls the parliamentary petition irresponsible and misleading and not happy that he's being portrayed as a pantomime villain!

Wouldn't be surprised, you know what Geordies can be like. If true then it is well out of order it's not like Sharon on the in the shoe section decides who Newcastle will sign...albeit the way Ashley and Charnley runs things one would never know |

Ashley also owns Cruise fashion and they are ****s to deal with . I bought some Lyle and Scott gear from them and it wasnt great quality. One the Polo shirts had a mark in it in the wrapper and a jumper I got looked like it was in a boil wash when I took it out . Never bought again out of Cruise
