It was in the context of the play-off draw.

And the hunt for flights and hotels.

And a monumental fcuk-up by the IFA over away tickets.

And whether Jamie Ward will be fit in time.

And the curious resemblance between Xherdan Shaqiri and Harry Enfield.

And the shape of thon Mexican dame who introduced the draw.

And Hurricane Ophelia.

And, well...  a million other rather more important things to be worrying about.

Just reading about the IFA ticket thing.

So the situation is this:

If you have one campaign card on your account (plus the bonus for the last campaign as well) and went to three aways, you have 13 points + 3 points + 6 points = 22 points.

But if *I* have two campaign cards on my account (plus the bonus for the last campaign as well) and I went to five aways, but the other campaign card holder went to none, I would be assessed as having 26 points + 6 points + 10 points = 42 points, divided by two (because I have two campaign cards on my account) = 21 points.

And that's 21 points, whether I apply for one or two away tickets to the Swiss game.

So I would lose out to the lad who has only been to three aways, simply because I am the lead booker for someone else who doesn't go to away games, whether he wants a ticket to Switzerland or not.

That is absolutely bonkers. Insane. Crazy. Mad. Batsh*t. Nuts. Incredible. Stupid. Ignorant. Wrong. Nonsense.

Your system is worse, your system is worse, we thought ours was bad, but your system is worse.

You were thinking about Hurricane Ophelia? It was us Free Staters that got the shallacking from her so not to worry.

But of course OWC is above any sort of pettiness with their open forum.......oh wait
Wings? They're only the band The Beatles could have been.

Terri and SuperDave are right: our fans are too busy gurning about the crazy ticketing system to worry about T-Shirt Eireann.

I preferred this classic design from last year's Euros:

PS the 'Oireland' thing is often to take the p*ss out of your 'diaspora', esp in England.

Terry, Floreat, am I right about how the system is working for away tickets? Because if that is correct, it's insane. You should be up in arms.
