Robertson off injured. Shocked Seeing the flags in the crowd, I'm amazed that anyone from his background could stand for that anthem and play for that team. Knowing that you have teammates who openly make sectarian comments in public. I wouldn't be able to look myself in the mirror but ho-hum, it's his life I guess.

Maybe it's you who needs to look in the mirror. See the speck in someone else's eye without seeing the plank in your own? (and all that).

Casual reminder that you lost home and away to Kazahkstan last year LOL

Erm, Ok. Thanks for that.Ermm Cracker, as they say up here.

Absolutely all of this.

A quick read of the match thread on the Tartan Army forum will highlight to anyone the disconnect from reality that the Scots have.

Lots of them complaining about Nordies singing Rangers songs, and saying that they should f**k off back to Ireland etc.

They just don't get it - the staunch, flute-playing, Ulster says no 'culture' that the orange men have, comes directly from Scotland - they should f**k off back to there.
It's called divide and conquer the favourite tactic of those English Bastids.

I would be absolutely delighted with Michael O'Neill as our manager TBH. Shame he's an Uncle Tom.

They have some good young players.

Jodie Spencer look like a good prospect at FB/WB. He's only 19.

Shea Charles is in and out of the Southampton team, but still only 20 and former Man City.

Isaac Price left Everton for Standard Liège last summer, and it's going well for him. Also only 20.

Callum Marshall is on loan at West Brom from West Ham. He's also only 19.

Conor Bradley is the crown jewel. 20 and doing very well at Liverpool.

Michael O'Neill seems to be repeating history after a tough start both times in the job.

Yet, the Scots, despite voting to stay in the UK, seem to reject GSTK as if they're distancing themselves from the very union they chose to remain part of.

This is very ironic, considering Scotland's role in the historical and cultural ties between Scotland, Northern Ireland, and the rest of the UK, including the plantation of Ulster that cemented Unionist sentiments in the province.

Adding to the confusion, Scottish football fans also fly Irish tricolours at club games, claiming Irish heritage, while paradoxically booing the Irish anthem in matches against Ireland. It seems like a complex denial or perhaps a selective embrace of their intertwined histories and identities.

It must have been a confusing night for the 'GAWA',  finding themselves in Glasgow, cheering for their team in green, against a team in blue. Don't even get me started on the additional complications of the 'Govan loyal - no surrender brigade'.

The British really did a fantastic job at creating a political cluster f**k in Ulster and Scotland, absolutely none of it makes sense.
In fairness, it's really not that difficult to understand. Like the North, Scotland has very similar political and cultural ties. Some Scottish people have very strong ties to Ireland, while others have strong ties to the union. You don't have to necessarily agree with it, but it really shouldn't leave you scratching your head. Based on the majority of your posts lately, you seem to have an unhealthy obsession with Celtic, their fans and can't seem to grasp the ties between the club and Ireland. Again, this might not be something you subscribe to but should be able to, at a minimum, understand. As for the cluster f**k in the North, regardless of your stance on it and considering the facts involved, you should at least be capable of understanding it.
