People get caught up on the Barcelona’s Madrid’s  they completely forget about Seville for example . Who essentially own the Europa league at this stage. Never mind Valencia/Villarreal/Sociedad Etc I mean Betis finished 15th, I’d argue they’d fare comfortably v the Newcastle’s of the EPL. They’ve better players, and most sides in Spain do. They just didn’t cost silly sums of money.

La Liga saying the clause ended in June despite the season postponement.

It's a massive spanner in the works but I don't believe Barcelona will simply let him wait until the end of next season to activate the clause again. They'll look to get something for him.
