Curious stats: Suarez has now been at Barca for 5 seasons.

In his first season (2014/15), Suarez played 8 CL games. He scored 7 times, 1 at home and 5 away from home, plus 1 in the Final in Berlin (beat Juve 3-1, the most recent time they've won it).

The following season (2015/16), he scored 8 in 10 CL games, but only one was away from home (group game in Sept 2015).

And in the last 3 seasons, Suarez has scored just 5 goals in 30 CL games, none of them away from home.

Has he lost his appetite?

Jaysus bad night for Messi all round even missed the bus to the AirportLOL

Lionel Messi broke down in tears in Barcelona’s Anfield dressing room

• Argentinian inconsolable after semi-final defeat to Liverpool
• Messi then missed team bus to airport due to drug testing

Lionel Messi broke down in tears after his dream of winning the Champions League for a fifth time with Barcelona collapsed against Liverpool.

The Argentina international was inconsolable in the Barcelona dressing room following the 4-0 defeat at Anfield, where the Spanish champions were on the receiving end of an incredible comeback in Europe for the second season running, having won the first leg 3-0 at the Camp Nou. Last season in the quarter-finals Barça beat Roma 4-1 at home but collapsed in the away leg tolose 3-0 in Rome and go out on away goals.

Hard to disagree with most of them tbh. Was only midway through the second half I realised Rakitic was playing

I was liveblogging it in work last night. One of the lads on news asked me if Rakitic was playing 30 minutes in and I had to go back and check the teams.

Shameful cowardly performance from Barca.

Why don't you start a West Brom thread there, so you can mention that Big Ron should take over there as well?

He's not suited to West Brom.  He's called Big Ron because he's Big Time
