f**k the stats. We were well rattled. The fact we came through it I felt we were blessed and was actually confident we would win as it was 'one of those nights' for Swansea. So many times been on the receiving end of playing well but not being able to score then getting beat, was nice to on the right side this time.

Swansea were the better side in the first half and you could see they worked hard on counter acting Liverpool's formation but they didnt take their chances. Rodgers is excellent at making subtle changes to his team and he did so in the second half and Swansea couldn't adapt to it. Once Liverpool scored it knocked the stuffing out of the Swans and the game petered out without Swansea really threatening again, in fact Sturridge was unlucky not to make it 2-0.

One thing i will say and that is, i will be delighted on Sunday if Sterling or Lallana start in the right wing back position. It limits them in an attacking sense and both are vunerable defensively, with the form Young is in, and he linked up well with Blind at the weekend, i could see United creating alot a chances from that side. Talyor got a lot of room before the switch last night as did the Blackburn left back last week.

So after watching that first half you were confident of a Liverpool win, would you stop

They're Swansea, not exactly Chelsea. They played well for a few minutes and had three shots, so what. If that sets off alarm bells and mass panic, god knows how you'll be when Liverpool actually do go to Chelsea where there'll probably be a fair bit more than 3 shots to worry about.
