Ireland 1-2 Poland

For the following reasons:  Think O'Neills tactics have been very poor. Dont think he knows his strongest team or knows which tactics are best. Poland have the most confidence and best results they have had in a long long long time and posess a couple of top players which can make the difference. With the vast Polish support they will have all the motivation in the world to do us for their people here.

2-1 Ireland.
The tactics will be awful again but we'll win.

Szczesny to make an awful mistake in the last five minutes and give Walters an open goal.

The only tactics of MON I'd question was Scotland away?

I thought we set up ok in Germany, Gibraltar at home and even though we needed a McGeady wonder strike to beat Georgia I felt it was a must not lose game and we set up alright.

I'm going for 0-0, still it's pretty hard to predict when we haven't a clue how we'll line out or what team we'll have out.

Georgia away I thought we were poor.  O'Neill was settling for a 1-1 draw and admitted as such in the interview after. I think we all were expecting a tough place to go like when we played there in 2003 or like Armenia away in 2010. The atmosphere was not intense plus while they caused us problems Poland went there and hammered them. Looking back a draw there and we would nearly be effectively out of the race for the Euros.

Gibraltar I have no problems with bar we could have put another 3 past them if the manager and players gone for the jugular.

Germany away I thought we were fortunate to play germany at a time when they are even struggling to put 4 past gibraltar at home while us and the poles thrashed them 7-0.  I thought we were very lucky to get a draw from that.  Scotland went there and were desperatley unlucky and outplayed Germany for most of the game. We showed no ambition (contrary to the hype that we finally had a manager 'who would have a go').

Scotland away we all know about.

If we are lucky we might scrape a score draw.

Come off it . The players were sh*te against Scotland. That had way more impact on the result than MON's tactics .

Look MON sets his teams up differently for home and away games, more defensive away from home as this will be our first home game ( besides the one versus fragle rock ) surely a win is a must no point in paying large managerial salaries if they can't achieve that. Poland are average at best.
time is the stuff that life is made of, don't waste it.

Is this a predictions thread or just the latest platform for you to have a go at MON? Yawn.

Is it not??

Elaborate. We'd have 8 points then. Tell me where you see us picking up the rest of our points? And how we'll qualify for the euros.

This bullsh*t of settling for a draw permeates from the supporters and reaches the players.

Another f**king useless draw in a game we have to win, cos "its not the worst result".
