Another title for Irelands No. 1
Interesting to note the 1st post in this thread was praising nutsy for the options we had. Hindsight is a wonderful thing, of course but it took a good 2 yrs for Bradley and his mgnt team to undo the damage fenlon  done in the club  with the  host of poor signings he made.
Looking back now, Kenny, Croly and Fenlon all struggled to handle the pressure at Rovers, with Fenlon seeking journeymen to at just keep him in the job instead of setting out a cohesive plan to take back the title.
Bradley benefited because the Board and fans were sick of the revolving managers door.
Some great signings (Mannus, Joey, Pico, Aaron and GOAT Byrne) later and Rovers have fairly strolled to the title, with little or no credible opposition to halt the march of the Green & White.
Keep on Hooping!

So Rovers won it because the opposition were so poor
It was far across the sea,

He wouldn't set me free,
So he kept me soul for ransom.

well done shamrock on your 17th and a half titleLOL
Same situation for everyone though so deserved.chuffed with our high finish again, as welcome as it was unexpected, commiserations to cork though, going down after a curtailed league is a cruel blow.

The opposition was terrible. Worst Cork side in years, worst Dundalk side in years, Waterford pretty terrible bar when playing Bohs, Pats have scored 10 times this season, Derry not following up on last seasons promise.
The only sides improved were Rovers Bohs and possibly Sligo.
Rovers were the best team in the league by quite a stretch

Credit where credit is due, deserved winners. Only Dundalk can match them financially.

Everyone else miles behind.

It'll be interesting to see if they sign anyone (Mandriou aside). It's a huge squad as it is.

Would agree with that. Rovers are a very good side and congratulations to them. I know it was a difficult year with covid. But the standard dipped in my opinion .
