Sad to hear.

I could agree with you but then we'd both be wrong.

I mistook him with Eamonn McCann at first. Obviously everyone's favourite Nordy Lefty still abides.

Great Great tune that somehow manages to combine a tender sentiment in a booming vocal  Clap Think it's on the Atlantic or is it Transatlantic (??) sessions by the Dubliners. Must dig it out again. Sung wonderfully by Ronnie or Jim McCann, RIP.

One of the greats. I always loved his version of Carrickfergus, especially the last verse.

Sad news. Played Grace for a friend only  last week. He is coming to Dublin for the game in June and he is making a point of going to Kilmainham.
It'll be some band they have up the stairs.

Jim McCann RIP

His brother Tommy (?) taught me English in Springfield D24 for a few years.  We all knew he was Jim McCann's brother and then 'Grace' hit the charts and his prestige went up even further.  they looked exactly alike.  Tommy is an artist in his own right, chalk on blackboard medium.
