And if they have it in Scun-thorpe, they could even call it "A place in the scun".

He wasn’t made answer the question about the troubles and the civil rights protests. Looked worried when it was asked. Nolan let him off the hook

Didn’t like his ‘snipe’ remark. I know you need lads like Jim to give his view and Nolan indulges him somewhat but how the Sinn Fein guests aren’t biting their knuckles when debating with him. He is so pompous and condescending.
I could agree with you but then we'd both be wrong.

So, regarding the news earlier today about Ford I just read that 550 people are employed building ford engine blocks at the old Delorean plant in Dunmurry, Co Antrim. The engine blocks are then sent to other factories in Germany and Turkey.

The EU currently has a customs union with turkey which means ford cars can be exported to countries like Korea tariff free. The UK govt has confirmed that the roll over of the EU deal with Turkey won't be ready by the 30/03/19 meaning Korea and other countries the eu has a fta with could slap tariffs on ford cars from that date (simply because a component in the car will be made by a 3rd country).

The plant in the north is owned by a French company contracted to ford.

It doesn't look good for them.

Is that why unionists are stuck in 1955 after messing around with DeLeoreans?

Interesting. I lived in Korea for a good few years,it would be rare enough to see a non korean car, probably about 1% of cars over there.Obviously theres so many Korean car manufacturers but I was also told there is a huge tariff on foreign cars.
The foreign cars you would see would be mostly high end German models. Once or twice Id see a small Peugeot or citreon and think whats the point of paying a fortune to have that!?

Sammy Wilson (DUP) attacks Peter Grant (SNP). "Would he at least take the courtesy of reading the Belfast Agreement. There is no suggestion that in leaving, deal or no deal, that the institutions will be broken

Grant: "I have read the Belfast agreement. If it comes to any arguments about interpretation, I would sooner take the interpretation of the former Taoiseach who helped to write it than of somebody who fought tooth and nail to have it rejected."

7 Blairites bailed off the Good Ship Jezza, that is the soon to be nationalized Good Ship Jezza.
That saves him the bother of having them around and undermining him.

Bunch of neo-liberal ****s. They want a new politics by adding to the choice between the friendly looking, but equally spiteful Blair/Macron/Clinton capitalism and the Brexit/Le Pen/Trump right-wing bollocks.

Corbyn stood and fought through Blairism, against the Iraq war and the privatisation that furthered Thatcherism and set Britain back further. These neo-liberal ****s start seeing a Labour Party acting like a Labour Party and they throw their toys out of the pram. f**k off ye bunch of ****s.

I have some sympathy for Berger, it seems she was getting a lot of abuse based on her background online, but, in saying that, she is a liberal and not a socialist, democratic or otherwise. She joined 'New Labour' and was never 'real' labour.
