Everywhere saying it now.

Tony Connolly on Twitter is an excellent source for all things Brexit related. He is doing a very good job of covering his beat.

It won’t go through British Parliament either way and then we go back to 2 years ago. But under a new British government.

All the signs are pointing towards a no vote

Yeah it needs to get cabinet and then Parliament approval.

It’s either no deal which nobody wants or an Extension but is this just delaying the problem.

It’s proper f**ked

Boris will get the top job in the new year as he's still the party flavour of the month and because he has zero opposition to contest him properly in the inevitable election which follows with the slimmest of minorities, a one slimmer than what May has now and he'll get an extension using his new transitional role to buy time for a 2nd referendum.

I just cannot see an outcome where the UK actually goes ahead leaving the EU.

From Guardian Live Blog:

Boris Johnson, the Brexiter former foreign secretary, says the withdrawal agreement has been well trailed. The UK will stay in the customs union and in large parts of the single market. It is “vassal state stuff”, he says. The UK will be bound by laws over which it has no say. That is “utterly unacceptable”, he says.

He also says the deal will not protect the union. There will be customs checks down the Irish Sea. And in some aspects Dublin will have more say over Northern Ireland than London, he says.

He confirms he will vote against it.

Stop reading then. But you'll look back at it when it happens. He's still the bookies favourite and polled over 60% in a 1922 committee survey between all Conservative members and MP's.

One person who definitely won't be getting it is David Davis, who got 1% of the survey. Which was less than the 'Other people' category.

Am I right in thinking not much actually happens on 29th March next year, we just enter the transition phase, and everything continues as is for 2 years?

The only difference being that Uk can't vote on anything in the EU.

Have a wager on the person you think will get it otherwise, you'll get a rather good price!

Boris by the slimmest of minorities, not because the British voters will see him as a credible candidate, but because of Labour's own self-destruction and they won't get enough seats. Such the state of British politics atm.

I'll do it when Parliament votes no.

I'll look super stupid putting a bet on which we won't know the outcome of until 2022 if it passes LOL

If he is the latter then he is obviously the former but happy for either as he isn’t even a stop gap leader

Sajid Javid is the outright favourite with every bookies except Skybet who make him and Boris joint favourites.

It's a very uninspiring list of candidates.
