Matters not. Mission accomplished by then.

Today, there are still quite a few Scottish Labour councillors in Glasgow, Lanarkshire and Ayrshire who are active members of the Orange Order. They have to declare it on their public declaration of interests.

Glasgow's SNP council quite correctly banned several orange marches and one republican march from going ahead this weekend. Oh and what a surprise, now we have Labour councillors and MSP's cosying upto them wanting their vote because "the natz" stopped their silly wee parades that in recent weeks have gotten completely out of hand, with people put in hospital and private property damaged.

There are actually three simple "cheat codes" for Scottish Labour to get back into power.

1) Support independence,
2) Embrace Scottish national identity,
3) Stop thinking that Scotland is their family heirloom that the "the natz" have stolen from them.

There is simply no way that they can ever bring themselves to meet any of those three conditions and I can't vote for them.

If Mr Richard Leonard (the Norman Wisdom character who is currently leader of Scottish Labour) is the answer then just what the hell was the question ?

I’m not really a big Labour man. I’m Labour as long as they have a centre left leader, I would be much further to the left myself, but Corbyn has given me some hope. I’m a member of Labour as I joined to get Corbyn in, I am also a member of the Socialist Party of Great Britain as they are closer to my beliefs and the meetings are just a session of booze and Tory hatred. Ideologically, I’m an anarchist. For what it is worth, I am in favour of a Scottish breakaway and think Labour should have stayed neutral in the referendum.

I just don’t have time for any nationalism of any type, progressive or otherwise, anymore. I find it dangerous to the people waving the flags.

guaranteed, its juat a matter of when.

The snp will put it in their manifesto and should they win in Scotland as expected they will quite rightly say they have a mandate from the Scottish electorate to hold an independence referendum. Should the British government refuse then the snp will play the grievance card. Very hard for the British government to say no. The snp are quite rightly playing the long game.

Scotland only cares about money. They joined the union for money, they voted to stay in it because of money and the only reason there's talk of another referendum is because of money.

Nice bit of lazy stereotyping there. Clap

How would you react if I said something like that about Ireland ?

Meh, we went poor for 70 years but I suppose to those people, it was better to be poor than British.

Excellent Scotland, work hard and you'll get a shiny penny.

David Cameron still refusing to take responsibility while trying to sell his book. The necks on the British establishment get thicker by the generation.

Meanwhile, the government release an advertisement displaying British maritime past, including slave ships. I should point out, it isn’t an act of contrition.

He takes responsibility alright, his personal agenda is his reputation as PM is now the man who decided to hold the referendum only 1 year after he gained the first Tory majority in a generation

He thought he had all the power but he wasn't aware of his own closest aides were ready to knife him in the back - Alot of digs at Gove in his book.
