Careful PM or you'll end up in hell with Kyle Lafferty and Nacho Novo for company.

Boris wants to build a bridge from Larne to Stranraer as an alternative to the backstop.
It's the British equivalent of The Wall innit "I'll make those Jocks pay for that bridge for bringing my proroguement to court" It's good news for Joanna Cherry QC, SNP MP for Edinburgh South West also.

Even if he did build a £20billion,25 mile bridge, how on earth is that an alternative to the backstop?!

Cos there's no border in the Irish Sea if they have it on a bridge above the Irish Sea. Genius.

The Scottish Court of Session has a special jurisdiction – its "nobile officium" – which it can use to send a letter that the prime minister refuses to send, i.e. the Scottish court can legally send an A50 extension request to the EU if Johnson won't.
Buy shares in popcorn.
At this rate it'll be the English seceding from the Union. The Scottish Nationalists this week are seriously pushing the Brexiteers buttons |

Imagine they built the bridge and in 10 years time we had a United Ireland and an Independent Scotland. We would have a nice bridge that would connect two independent countries paid for by the UK . We could also charge them extra for using it. Regular Scottish or Irish vehicle £20 toll, English motorbike, £240.

I think it took 10 years to build the Oresund bridge between Seden and Denmark and it's only 6 or 7 mile long costing over 2 billion euro. The sea floor between scotland and the north is deeper and the irish sea is more temperamental than Oresund. Never gonna happen

Is the part of Scotland that this bridge would go to not just basically empty? Realistically surely there would be f**k all traffic on it.

‘A broad church’, but they use left-wing populism to get what they want. I can’t say I am a fan of them, even if I can understand the allure.

I say the NI courts have also ruled against the justiciability of matters related to the prorogation. Miller II’s reasoning is the same, which leaves the Scottish Court as the odd one out. Depending on how the SC rule it will make one or the other look very suspect, either NI & England didn’t do their “homework”, or the Scottish Court will look highly political and over-reaching.

Consistent with the rest of Scotland then as elsewhere everyone is either taking Spice or training indoors to compete in the only sport they're actually good at - The Highland Games.
