You can’t say no to Madrid but it’s the hardest job in world football. The expectations are ridiculous and he is following a manager who has won 3 CL in a row. Also as Baggio said the squad is getting on and their league form is a worry. You don’t get time at Real to turn things around slowly. They want instant success. His new contract at Spurs is meaningless. All it means is spurs will get a big fee if Madrid want him.

Where's this idea coming from the Real are past it and most of their squad is the wrong side of 30?
Ronaldo - 33 Benzema - 30 Modric - 32 Marcelo - 30 Ramos - 32 The only one in that group that would be considered old enough would be Ronnie. Modric and Ramos won't be effected by their age for another 1-2 years I'd say. People going on like taking over Real will be the hardest job in football, get a grip.
