Nothing wrong with love as a subject for songs, sone of the greatest lyrics have come from broken hearts, I have read some of this chap's drivel though, all I can think of is transition year project .

I wasn't implying there was something wrong with a love song but again ,who writes love song after love song? ( its ed idea of a love song)How many times could this fella have got his heart broke? Does he not have any friends to take him out for a few pints so he can move on? Can he not just man the f**k up a small bit. Write a song about prostitutes ,drugs ,std's or the Palestine conflict or something. The reason he wont is because he will frighten the mainstream popular culture and affect his pocket. We could see if he has any real talent if he let himself go a bit.

His biggest hit was about a hooker on drugs, so yes he can write about stuff other than love.
