Nothing really in that. Sounds like they overpaid him and rather than repaying it back they must have agreed he pays it back over time. Happened to me one year too. You had a choice to pay it back in the lump sum or pay it off over 12 months interest free

Has the ship not already sailed on this on though? I thought the FAI had said they had a 4th independent person identified and they would join the board once they had some commitments completed.

That commitment could be the general election , pure speculation now

their like a group of school kids who know they are in trouble with the teacher. And they'll pull their head in enough just to get the money in. Then revert to type.

I reckon Barrett will walk away within 12 months frustrated.

Happened before, whether Fran rooney was the right man or not, they certainly didn't give him that long and lynched him to be replaced by the **** himself.
It would seem hes not particularly well liked by FG, Noel Rock would be their man for Sport from inside the party, although the early indications are he’s going to lose his seat to Paul McAuliffe of FF in Dublin NW
It'll likely be McAuliffe, Rock and Shorthall elected in Dublin NW. Dessie Ellis will loose his seat.

Is this offset by the revenue from hosting Euro 2020 games?
