Is this for real? If Rock or any member of the PAC has an email or text or letter from JD inviting them to this, that's surely him done. I assume if an offer like this was made that it wasn't in writing and not made directly by him, so he can keep plausible deniability.

Didn’t hear the interview but it was on newstime this evening so should be up as a podcast later. Leo Varadkar also spoke about “the loan” in an interview up on Twitter.
One City,One County,One Club GUFC will be back.

He will be hoping that a 6 point return from the two upcoming fixtures will take the pressure and focus off himself but I think even 9 points from the 2 matches wouldn't even do that. If FAI give him sack his UEFA career in the liffey with Rices gong

Noel Rock still hasn’t got his ticket touting bill passed into law. Would he ever sort that out before worrying about the FAI inviting politicians to the Euro U17 draw.

It was the FAI not JD himself.

JD is the FAI but obviously the invite is from the FAI(please note hint of sarcasm in my last post)

Definitely not appropriate given what has happened and good to know it is clear that is not normal procedure, which is something he could hide behind if it was a regular occurrence.

Ya, Rock was asked whether he was invited to any event around the Euro draw in December to which he confirmed he wasn’t and wasn’t aware of any other committee member that was.

These tricks worked in the past but he’s stumbling at all hurdles this time - failed injunction, Sports Ireland clarification, media sticking to their guns and now all politicians have told the FAI they won’t attens this do.

It really is a shame that this man continues to deflect the attention from the pitch to the courts and the Abbottstown offices.

Nobody in their right mind can defend him this time. He has failed to clarify the position whatsoever in the last 5 days. He once again has made an international week all about him... and he wonders why there are protests then

Well since you highlighted it on a public forum I doubt that it will make it into the ground now Clap

The flags being confiscated would be a huge story again and another PR own goal by the FAI.
More exposure for the flag and reflects badly on FAI.
