Heard them talking about this on radio yesterday.

What Hes doing is saying alot of those emails are legally preveliged because he has ongoing legal disputes with the FAI as to who should be paying for the legal costs.

Its some mad Legal Contradiction that only the FAI and JD could come up with possibly to the benefit of JD in the long run

I bought Champagne Football when it was released 18 months or so ago but only read it in the last couple of weeks, what an eye opener, surely JD won't get away with everything he did!

I have an awful feeling He will and will cite too much is out in public arena that He cant be guaranteed a fair trial. Either that or He will build up the legal costs for as long as possible that it wont be finaancially worthwhile for the ODCE.

The thing that sticks out to me aty the moment is how many in the FAI competently enabled his behaviour. You would wonder what their motive was.  There for instance was alot of bank cards in use or helping giving legal advice on non FAI issues. Theres probably another book in it

Mark Tighe talks about the new revelations here.

You'd wonder whether he's in danger of running out of cash. He can't be earning much now and his legal fees must be astronomical

Id say the legal costs are still a fraction of what He Pilferred and He was very good at always spending other peoples money

This is Ireland! Sadly John Delaney will most likely do as much time in jail as Charlie Haughey did.

FAI announce the winding up of the John Giles Foundation. Such a shame that Giles was dragged into this all.

theirs a big black hole there that the Gardai should be looking at. Surely the time for his obstruction  in relation to the emails has to be called out now by the judge.

Tis a grand ole trick to kick the can down the road for as long as possible until it blows over just like Mr Pat Olympics Hickey.

The only solace is that they are both pariahs. Delaney will never be able to live in Ireland again not for a very long time.
