Yes thats my point! No just that its a good thing he didnt actually get as much out of the FAI as we thought he had got away it and was just a little surprised it was very quiet on here about it when there was a big uproar about his severance package at the time, but now not anything about the negotiated smaller payout by fai

Still cant believe that he has mates that would give him a job If he was my mate, the number would be deleted and never spoken to again, never mind supporting him

Another concerning report related to the internal reshuffle. Why the urgency and why were external applicants prevented from applying? This is not a ‘new’ FAI any one of us wanted. Heads should be rolling.

This highlights some other concerns Duff had with the FAI and also begs the question 2 and a half months in - where on earth is the new CEO

Does anyone know if FAI employees are WFH? If so, then I don't see a need for Hill to be based in Ireland just yet. Surely his job can be done via zoom, etc. Not ideal obviously, and you'd expect him to move over once the current situation improves.

He’s the ceo of a company that is for all intents and purposes insolvent he has to be based here.
All the Fai have done is rearranged the chairs on the Titanic . Too many of Delaneys enablers still employed.

They are insolvent. That are just borrowing more to keep going, and they plan to keep spending more than they take in as income. They still have no plan to get out of the mess and start investing in football in this country. Everything beneath the senior international team is going to suffer for years to come.

it’s a sorry indictment on the ‘New’ FAI when they continue with Mr McGlue in situ.
Mr. McGlue who was in charge of the arrangements in Saipan... Is it any wonder 18 years later they can’t even plan a flight manifest that avoids a catastrophe before a playoff The New FAI Edited by Pipkin - 16 Jan 2021 at 12:33am |

This is the CEO. You lead by example. You need to look your team in the eye. Whether that it is in person or from your office in Abbottstown (by far the biggest) over Zoom it doesn’t matter.. But not from a gaff in England when you haven’t been in Abbottstown.. Nothing to see here; a great management team already in situ.. no major issues to address.. no chief security officer that has abused fans for years and has broken all GDPR rules nor a chief of communications whom has splattered against our senior team manager.... All ok here

When will it ever end?.....the damage done by this man. This week alone, we had almost daily news on yet more damage left behind.
We found out a few days ago that 25 clubs in Kilkenny and 43 in Cork were promised €1.9million by the Great Leader who was throwing promised money around like confetti during the festival of football weeks a few years ago but none of these deserving clubs got a cent. The FAI has promised clubs it will try and accommodate them. Then we had the Gardai needing to be paid nearly €400,000 for policing at the Aviva from a number of years ago. Now we have the ODCE wanting five more people to assist it in examining files seized the the FAI. And all this is only from this week. Unfortunately, Football in the this Country will take decades to recover, that is the legacy of John Delaney. My fear is that the Pro Delaneyites will start to reemerge and criticize the present regime who are trying to clean up the mess. Unfortunately the present regime while well intentioned in general has still some of the remnants of the JD era.
