A notice party is someone who is not a direct participant in the proceedings, but is potentially affected by the proceedings. The proceedings are between ODCE and FAI.

DIRECTOR OF CORPORATE ENFORCEMENT -V- CUMANN PEILE NA HEIREANN FOOTBALL 2019/391 COS

In practical terms, it means JD will get a copy of all the papers filed in the proceedings in advance.

It's back in Court on 19 March, according to the High Court legal diary. Anyone can go in and listen.

I see Shaun Harvey is throwing his hat into the ring for the CEO job. Would actually just give up if he got anywhere near it. Carry on at Leeds when he was in charge there with Ken Bates as chairman was disgraceful, let alone his tenure at the EFL.

I would rather JD got restored and given the job for life.

Times reporting that McCarthy has a €1.13m exit fee due when he leaves the job agreed with Delaney. No wonder he is saying he is happy to leave the job after the playoffs if we don’t qualify.

That’ll bring his salary to nearly €2m annually if he leaves at the end of this month which is a complete disgrace. Delaney justifies it to the board because Kenny was only coming in on €300k - unclear whether that is as 21s or senior boss.

Another article reporting that Kenny was reprimanded by Delaney for talking to League of Ireland constituents at SFAI awards as one of them and didn’t realise he was now part of an organisation.. also told not to do a paper interview which he gave which Delaney described as disappointing..

The sooner the McCarthy charade is over the better.

The fallout from Delaney continues.  How many decades will it take to finally get rid of the stains?  How many more secret deals are out there such as McCarthys exit fee.  The Executve Management such as Walshe, Dervan, Gavin etc, what kind of money are they on, what kind of contracts have they and do they have an Exit payout built in all signed off by JD?   From JDs perspective, an exit payout is ideal as it's probably linked into a non disclosure clause, in other words they won't criticise JD once left the FAI so it looks most contracts were designed to protect JD.

It seems the new regime may have inherited a lot of financial payouts on contracts into the future not of their own making.

When are all these reports and audits due to be completed?
I could agree with you but then we'd both be wrong.

In fairness; McCarthy needs to look after number 1. The full board at the time whom were not spring chickens were fully briefed on this arrangement. This isn’t football manager.

It’s another kick in the teeth for Kenny. I’m sure he knew he was getting a fraction of Micks salary but not an 80% slash.

he looks after number one ok . He must have thought he won the lotto when the Ireland opportunity came along again. No different than the two managers before him. All aboard the Delaney gravy train!

Completely agree. Have been saying for years we shouldn’t be inflating the salaries of Irish managers. We’ve been robbed for 12 years

There have been quite a few 'indicators' since 1984. Where are  the 'indicators' that he doesn't.
