Reparations? Wink
Going by that, we can charge your mob a couple of grand each!
Ah just take it out of this:
Not even close to touching it, you could add a few trillion. Anyway, they are loans that were not a 'gesture of goodwill' but given out to protect the British economy.
Yeah, yeah, yeah whatever.

I didn't, you did! Although it was less of a joke, more an opportunity for a bit of what the kids call 'bantz'.

As 'Recovery Shots' go, that was on a par with this:

Something up with this.

Firstly, both clubs use Euro to charge anything. So 100 Euro was the demand. Nothing to do with the queen's banknote.

Secondly, Anderlecht played Bayern at home in November.

Thirdly, if it's the September game in Munich at issue, then why are Anderlecht being told to refund Bayern Munich for an Anderlecht away game?

Fourthly, why are UEFA getting involved in this? Every club is entitled to charge whatever they think the market will bear. So if someone refuses to pay the asking price, someone else will. And no doubt did.

No theyre not entitled to charge what they like. Away fans cannot be charged more than home fans for tickets of the same catergory. Its why for Ireland aways for example sometimes we can apply for say Cat A, B or C tickets depending on the stadium, and my category B ticket must cost the same as a Cat B for a home fan.

Bristol City fans complaining Leeds are charging Bristol City supporters £42 on the day of the match on Sunday which is £5 extra than for an advanced ticket. What a rip off!

Cheaper to buy in advance should have no effect - surely you'll have to decide in advance whether you're going to travel from Bristol to Leeds for a match.

Yes if you're taking Train or Coach, but not necessarily if you're going by car or hiring a minibus.

Ireland away tickets in any category are never the same price as for home fans, after the FAI premium is applied. I never see UEFA ask the FAI to refund us for extra costs. So we either pay up or stay at home.

Of course though, they'll obligingly pay up.

Sure enough, being English, they all paid the asking price to watch a 0-0 draw. No boycotts, no protests, nothing.

The game was free on RTE, which was still too expensive. Two hours of your life you'll never get back.
