Their message to their club is clear: stop ticket price rises and stop exploiting the loyalty of fans. The cost-of-living crisis continues to affect individuals and families across the nation, and post-Covid, people are understandably excited to get back to doing the things they love. However, due to noticeable price increases, more and more ... Edited by Double Maxim - 25 Aug 2023 at 7:52am |

No wonder the Owls fans are pissed off about this. Sheffield Wednesday have been unsurprisingly slammed by fans after revealing their matchday ticket prices for the 2023/24 season. The most expensive ticket price for an adult on a matchday is set at nearly £60, while the cheapest adult ticket is £27, as seen in the graphic below. It comes as back in May 2023, the Owls came under criticism for ... |

There was a protest banner at our last home game with Meppen (and Halle on Friday plan to protest as well) about paying 17.50€ for a terrace ticket. Our season ticket at 265€ for 19 games is also one of the most expensive in 2 higher leagues.

Fair dues - in this case it isn't down to WHU. But I guarantee you one thing, if it were down to the club to set prices, they'd have absolutely no compunction in charging whatever the hell they think they could get. Meanwhile, it will be interesting to see whether they do sue, or whether this is just a ruse to ingratiate them with the fans. Finally, libel laws prevent me from posting what I know to be true about the Dildo Brothers and Brady, but I 'm sure I can still restate my opinion that I think Lady Brady is a truly horrible person. "However, at the same time as campaigning for women’s rights, she has also been closely associated with some of business’s most unreconstructed figures – including [Alan] Sugar, [Sir Philip] Green, and the former pornographer David Sullivan"

West Ham United threaten to sue over beer amid supporter furyWest Ham have threatened legal action over the extortionate price of a pint at their opening-weekend loss to Manchester City, the Telegraph reports. After beer was found to cost a minimum £7.30 a pint at the London Stadium last weekend the Hammers are ready to sue the owners of the ground if the prices aren’t reduced before the next home game, which is their Europa Conference League play-off against Viborg on 18 August. |

For our recent Pokal match at home to Dortmund, it was 19€ for a terrace ticket (for league games 17.50€ ). The 1860 fan groups complained about the price increase. |

Lots of West End pubs at the £6+ mark, certainly, but not many above £7 (unless a particularly trnedy, craft beer, hipster joint, which will probably be a Slovenian patisserie next week and a Japanese/TexMex/Alaskan fusion cafe the week after). Anyhow, I don't know how anyone could compare a decent pub or bar, with all that entails, and queueing up for 15 minutes at H-T to drinki crap beer out of a plastic container in a vast concret concourse, surrounded by Weat Ham twats. Of course, none of it surprises me about that club. I happened to be talking recently to someone who works in Planning for the local Authority and all the bad things you hear about the owners are true, worse in fact. They make agreements to get a permission, then renege; they decline to spend even piddling amounts of money unless forced to; Karren Brady is a truly horrible person.
